ITPX CONFERENCE NEWS...
The 2008 International Telecommunication Professionals Exchange Conference was held this past April 20th to 23rd in Nashville, TN. We had the opportunity to meet and network with familiar faces as well as meet new attendees and Exhibitors.
The ITPX presented awards of Excellence to AT&T/ Cleveland Beverage and to Conveyant/Tim Kenyon for their ongoing personal and corporate ongoing support to the ITPX and education of our members.
Here are just a few comments from ITPX attendees:
“The overall conference was very helpful/ provided great information. Thanks”
“Overall sessions were very good, good speakers, good information at this show. I normally find equipment my vendors don’t provide, have, or promote, but I need for client service delivery.”
“I have really learned a lot and I'm grateful for the experience, interacting with telecom people; lingo, business formats, professional interaction, etc.”
“Even with the smaller attendance, I sold more here than at VoiceCon. ITPX has quality attendees”
Watch for the 2008 Conference presentations to be posted on the website (www.itpx.org) within the next few weeks.
AT&T has signed on to be a Platinum Sponsor at ITPX in Las Vegas, April, 2009.
CHANGES ON THE HORIZON AT ITPX….
The Board received comments that attendees would like to have a dedicated Centrex track at the Conference. There are millions of Centrex lines in service. The technology is evolving into a hosted (C.O. Based) IP service. The Board and Advisory held discussions and we are will be re-introducing the National Centrex Users Group at the ITPX. What would this mean?
- If you are a Centrex user, the ITPX would be your Conference to Network and Learn from other users.
- If you are implementing or thinking of implementing a C.O. Based or stand-alone IP or VoIP solution, the ITPX would be your conference to exchange ideas and learn from others who have implemented the technology.
- If you are an IP PBX user, the ITPX would be your conference to discover new solutions and technology.
- If you are implementing or investigating Unified Communications, Contact Centers, Messaging, searching for new sets, or have other technology concerns, the ITPX would be your Conference to seek solutions and innovations in the Exhibit Hall.
Within the next few weeks the Conference presentations will be on the web.
COMING SOON….
The ITPX will soon be offering quarterly webinars that will address topical issues. Watch for emails providing dates and times for these exciting events.
