PRESIDENT / Joan Moyer
Joan Moyer began her career in Telecom at General Telephone Company of Florida in Tampa, and then moving to the position of Telecommunications Manager at the University of South Florida. Returning to Canada after 20 years in Florida, Joan worked for the Government of Ontario handling large (> $1M) projects implementing telecom systems in new government buildings and City wide consolidations. In 1986 Joan moved to the former Municipality of Metropolitan Toronto, the 5th largest government in Canada, as Telecommunications Manager. When the Municipality amalgamated in 1998 with six local cities, Joan became the Telecommunications Manager for the newly amalgamated City of Toronto, the 6th largest city in North America. Joan left the City of Toronto in 2007 to take on new telecommunication challenges for a tax company. During her tenure at the University of south Florida, Joan was a member of ACUTA. Joan was on the Board of the Canadian Business Telecommunications Alliance serving as Vice President, and was the President of the National Centrex Users Group and Canadian President of the DMS Centrex Users Group.

 

SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT SECRETARY & TREASURER / Jacquelyn Smiley

Jacki is the Telecommunications Analyst for the Department of Transportation at the State of Minnesota. She is currently involved in the transition of 5,000 lines to VoIP throughout the State. She has worked for the State of Minnesota for 19 years in various telecommunications posts. Prior to the State Jacki worked for the Bell System and AT&T for 15 years. She has been involved with formally the NCUG and currently the ITPX since 1993.

 

SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT NEW BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT APPLICATIONS, SYSTEMS AND SOLUTIONS / Vinny Montano

Over 40 years experience in the Telecommunications Industry working as a Senior Systems Engineer for NY Telephone and AT&T with responsibilities for World Wide Broadcasting Services and RCDD planning, Senior Manager for Canon USA with responsibilities for Voice and Data Services in the "Americas", contract negotiation, vender management and construction planning and as a Service and Technical Service Manager for Verizon's Premier Global Fortune 100 accounts.

 

VICE PRESIDENT ITPX MEMBERSHIP / Cindy Cullen

Cindy Cullen is the A/Director of the Telecommunications Branch with the Saskatchewan Ministry of Government Services. This branch acts on behalf of approximately 70 Government of Saskatchewan organizations and is responsible for the strategic direction, acquisition and management of telecommunication services (voice, data and wireless). Cindy has been with the Government for 29 years, most of which were spent working in telecommunication related positions such as Telecom Coordinator and Manager, Voice Services. Primary areas of voice responsibility include Centrex service, inbound/outbound toll services, voicemail, wireless services and most recently Centrex IP service. Saskatchewan Government Services was the first organization within Saskatchewan to deploy SaskTel's Centrex IP Service. Over the years, Cindy has also held numerous positions within the DMS Centrex Users Group Organization (DCUG). These included Regina Regional Chair, Canadian Vice-Chair, and Canadian Chair. Cindy is currently in her third year as a Board of Director member for ITPX.

BUSINESS MANAGER / Carol Ford

As President of Bottomline Management Services, Carol Ford manages 7 associations. She has over 15 years of association management experience and provides support to these associations in all areas required. These can include bookkeeping, website maintenance, membership and event database, and meeting planning support.

 

 

MEETING PLANNER / AIC Meetings

AIC Meetings will provide meetings support for the ITPX Conference, and other events.
